Corrections Policy
Students make real decisions from this guide, so errors matter. If you spot something wrong on any page, please report it, and it will be checked against an official source before the page is changed.
How To Report An Error
Use the form on the Contact Us page and include: the page and section where the error appears, the wording you believe is wrong, and the official source that shows the correct position, such as a page on the official NSFAS website or a message on your myNSFAS account. A report that names the official source can be checked far faster than one that only says a page feels wrong. Do not include your ID number, password, PIN, one-time code or banking details in a report; this site cannot check a personal account, and those details are never needed to fix a guide.
What Happens Next
Each report is checked against the official source named, or against official guidance where no source was named. If the page is wrong, it is corrected. If the page is right but unclear, the wording is clarified. If the report concerns a personal case, such as a status or payment on one student's record, it cannot be resolved here: the student should take it to their institution's financial aid office and to NSFAS through official channels, because only they can see the record.
Material And Minor Corrections
Material corrections change what a student should do: a funding rule, a date or deadline, a status meaning, a process step, or a contact route. Material corrections are recorded in the log below. Minor corrections, such as a spelling error, a broken link, or clearer wording that does not change the advice, are fixed without a log entry.
Corrections Log
No material corrections have been recorded yet. This log will list the date, the page, and what changed whenever a material correction is made. A funding rule, a date or a status meaning is never changed silently: it is checked against an official source first, and then logged here.
