This site is a static information guide. It does not ask you to create an account, sign up, or log in, and it does not collect, store or sell your personal information through its pages.
What The Tools Do With Your Input
The eight guidance tools on the homepage run in your browser only. Anything you tick, choose or type into a tool, such as a stage, a checklist item or a figure for the allowance planner, stays on your device and is not sent to a server. Closing the page clears it. No tool asks for your ID number, password, PIN or banking details, and you should never type those into any page on this site.
The Contact Form
The form on the Contact Us page asks only for your name, your email address, a topic, and your message, so that a reply is possible. At present the form is front-end only: it is not connected to an email address, so messages submitted through it are not sent, stored or read anywhere yet. Once the site owner connects an email address for the form, messages will be sent to that address for the sole purpose of answering site feedback, and this policy will be updated to say so before that version is relied on. Even then, do not include ID numbers, passwords, PINs, one-time codes or banking details in a message.
Cookies, Accounts And Tracking
This site itself does not set tracking cookies, does not run user accounts, and does not ask for payment information. Reading a guide, using a tool, or opening a page does not create a profile of you on this site.

Links on this site go to the official NSFAS website and, where the Department of Higher Education and Training is named, to its website. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which are not covered by this policy. When you follow an external link, you are subject to that site's terms.
Changes To This Policy
If this site starts collecting any personal information in future, for example through a connected contact form, this policy will be updated first to describe what is collected, why, and how to ask for it to be removed. Questions about this policy can be raised through the Contact Us page.
